One of our major fundraisers, the Donation Quilt committee oversees the planning and construction of an annual donation quilt. The quilt is representative of the work of the members of the Guild and is designed and made to the high standards of quilting.
Once the quilt is completed, tickets are distributed to all members to buy or sell. Payment of membership dues now includes your tickets… pick up some extra to sell or buy for yourself! The winner of the quilt will be selected by a drawing to be held in June of each year.
The 2019 Donation Quilt is "How Does your Garden Grow?" It is a contemporary take on old-fashioned Jacobean applique. It was appliqued by Shelly Recicar and Joanne Hamburger, machine pieced by Jean DeFrances, and quilted by Barbara Hahl, and named "Fun in the Sun". The quilt measures 66 x 67 inches.
Chances are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The winning ticket will be drawn on June 18 2019. The winner need not be present to win.
