MASKarade Exhibit at Sugar Sand Park

  • Sugar Sand Park

The "MASKarade" quilts have recently returned from their Mancuso Tour!
And.......we're happy to announce that arrangements have been agreed upon with Sugar Sand Park in Boca Raton to exhibit the "MASKarade" quilts at their facility from June 9 - July 24, 2017.

This will give our Challenge participants an opportunity to have their "MASKarade" quilts exhibited locally, and enable all Guild members, their family and friends, along with the public, to fully view these wonderful quilts at their leisure during the exhibit period.

We plan on returning the quilts at the August meeting.

Included are a few photos of our members' MASKa- rade quilts that will be on view.

Bonnie Hunter: Jamestown Landing

  • Boca Raton Comminuty Center
Book Required

Stars and chains in blues and neutrals are sure to capture any star-lover's fancy! What a great way to clear out scraps by choosing two color families: A foreground (Blue) and a background (Neutral) Students will learn the basics of string piecing along with learning to use the Easy Angle ruler to create half square triangle units from 2 1/2" scrap strips. This quilt was a great way for me to use a large variety of blue and neutral scraps for the half-square triangles, and even more scrap fun clearing out a whole box of neutral strings used in the alternate block areas.
