Contrasting Points of View

I’m very excited to present this year’s Mystery Quilt and hope you will all join in! This quilt will be lap-sized and finish at about 72” x 72”. The quilt is an advanced beginner level, containing half square triangles, square in a square units, flying geese, and basic patchwork. (There is no appliqué, Y- seams, or paper piecing in the pattern.)

For this pattern, the width of fabrics (WOF) is assumed to be at least 41 inches and a scant 1⁄4” (a thread width smaller than 1⁄4”) seam is to be used throughout the construction of the quilt.
This quilt will be presented in 8 installments, beginning in January, with fabric selections & yardage requirements. You can make yours with yardage or make it scrappy... whichever way you go, high contrast fabrics will make this quilt really sparkle... there’s fabric selection guidance in the first installment.

Here’s to a mysterious new year!! Please note: If you like to know what the finished result is before committing to participate, just ask! Please contact me with any questions. “Mystery Quilt signup will take place at the January meeting. Clues will not be printed in the newsletter. Either a printed copy will be available at each meeting OR it can be emailed to you by Tammie.
