It’s A Mystery!
The 2017 Mystery Quilt will be a scrappy quilt using a Bonnie Hunter pattern. Bonnie Hunter (www.quiltville.blogspot.com) will be presenting the program and two workshops in September 2017. It is our hope that there will be finished mystery quilts for our September Show and Tell. The clues will be published in the GCQG newsletter (and on the website below) over a period of 4 months, beginning in February and ending in May, with a workshop planned for Wednesday, May 17th. You will be cutting 2.5” squares from assorted dark and medium fabrics and 4.5” squares from assorted light fabrics and assorted dark and medium fabrics. Suggested fabrics are reproductions, brights, Americana, pastels, holiday, or all blues, reds, etc. Pick your theme and go through your “stash” for fabrics to use, keeping in mind the size squares you will be cutting. The finished quilt will be approximately 52” x 60” without borders and approximately 64” x 73.5” with borders.

- 1 yard total of Light #2 fabrics (one fabric or assorted lights)

- 1 1⁄2 yards total of dark and medium fabrics (assorted for 2.5” squares)

We hope you’ll plan to participate!
