Update from Exhibit Committee

Ladies----Please don’t miss our current exhibit !!!!!

“A QUILTING EVOLUTION: Gold Coast Quilters Guild” at the Cornell Museum of Art at Old School Square (also called Delray Center for the Arts) 51 N. Swinton Ave. (corner ofAtlantic Ave), Delray Beach May 16-Sept. 29, 2013 . 

In addition, we have 2 lectures at the Cornell Museum scheduled during the exhibit period. Our own Jane Pruett Hill will be presenting “The Hundred Year Evolution of American Quilting” at 2:00PMon Thursday June 27th.

John Cutrone, Director of the Jaffe Center for Book Artsand Arthur Jaffe, Founder of the Jaffe Center for Book Arts at Florida Atlantic University will be discussing artists books on Thursday July 18th at 2:00 PM.

On Sunday Sept. 8th, there will be a Sunday Family Funday chaired by Dotty Levine.  The children who attend that day will have the opportunity to make Quilt of Valor blocks that will be used to make some Quilt of Valor quilts.

Museum hours: Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 AM-4:30 PM,  Sunday 1:00 PM-4:30 PM, closed Mondays and major holidays.
